Boyd Gaming : “Audiences Insist Jay White is Neil Diamond” Comes to Suncoast Showroom Sept. 23

LAS VEGAS-Las Vegas local and professional entertainer Jay White will bring a spectacular Neil Diamond tribute performance to Suncoast Showroom on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Early in his career, White gained an appreciation for Diamond's music when he performed as part of a doo-wop group, a 'Top 40' band and numerous musical theater productions. Twenty-four years ago, White went on to dedicate himself to paying tribute to the renowned artist, replicating Diamond's music, passion and charisma.

White's excellent renditions of Diamond's smooth baritone vocals, dance moves and style landed him a nearly nine-year stint in 'Legends in Concert' on the Las Vegas Strip. White followed that with an eight-year run performing in a solo Las Vegas Strip show as Diamond.

An accomplished performer, White has appeared in theaters and entertainment venues around the world. His additional accolades include performing for First Lady Nancy Reagan, singing the National Anthem at dozens of high-profile sporting events and appearing with Bob Hope for the American Legion.

In addition to his ventures on stage, White was selected by Hollywood director Ron Howard to portray Diamond in the Academy Award-nominated film 'Frost/Nixon.' Most recently, White starred in the documentary 'Diamond Mountain' which was released in 2015.
