LONDON--BP PLC (BP.LN) has resolved the problem that forced it to halt deliveries of Saturno grade crude oil from Angola, the company said Tuesday.
"The force majeure ended today," said a BP spokeswoman.
Reduced production at the 150,000 barrel of oil a day field after a mooring failure last month led BP to declare force majeure on cargoes from Saturno on August 21.
A force majeure is declared when a company is unable to fulfill its contractual obligations to deliver exports due to circumstances beyond its control.
