VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2014) - Bralorne Gold Mines Ltd. ("Bralorne" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:BPM)(OTCQX:BPMSF)(BERLIN:GV7)(FRANKFURT:GV7) (WKN A0B75M) announces that Institutional Shareholder Services ("ISS") has recommended that shareholders vote "FOR" the special resolution to approve the plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") between Bralorne and Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. ("Avino") to be considered at the upcoming annual and special meeting of Bralorne shareholders and holders of Bralorne options to be held at 11:00 a.m. (Vancouver time) on Thursday October 9, 2014, at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia (Bowden Room), 801 West Georgia St., Vancouver, BC.

ISS is an independent proxy advisory firm that, amongst other services, provides proxy voting recommendations to pension funds, investment managers, mutual funds and other institutional shareholders. In its analysis, ISS reported:

"Given the Company's limited financial position, the transaction appears to be a better strategic alternative for the Company than operating on a stand-alone basis. As there appear to be no significant governance concerns, a vote 'FOR' this resolution is warranted." *

Bralorne's board of directors has recommended that shareholders vote "FOR" the Arrangement.

Shareholders are reminded to vote their proxy "FOR" the Arrangement prior to the proxy voting deadline of Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. (Vancouver time).

The completion of the proposed Arrangement is subject to a number of customary conditions, including approval of the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the receipt of all necessary shareholder and regulatory approvals. The Company has received conditional approval (subject to customary conditions) from the TSX Venture Exchange with respect to the Arrangement.

Shareholders are encouraged to review the management information circular of Bralorne dated September 4, 2014 (the "Circular"), which provides a detailed discussion of the Arrangement. A copy of the Circular and related documents have been mailed to Bralorne shareholders and holders of Bralorne options. Copies of the Circular and related documents can be obtained via SEDAR (www.sedar.com) or by contacting Laurel Hill Advisory Group toll-free at 1-877-452-7184 or at 416-304-0211 or by email at assistance@laurelhill.com.
