BRASKEM S.A. NOTICE TO THE MARKET
São Paulo, February 21, 2018 - BRASKEM S.A. (B3: BRKM3, BRKM5 and BRKM6; NYSE: BAK; LATIBEX: XBRK), further to its notice to the market published by the Company on September 14, 2017, informs its shareholders and the market that the signed settlement agreement with the Lead Plaintiffs in In re Braskem Securities Litigation (Civil Action No. 15-CV-5132-PAE) ('Class Action') has been approved by the Court.
In the agreed upon settlement, Braskem will pay US$ 10 million to the plaintiffs, as previously disclosed.
