Bridgestone : Announces Establishment of Regional Mining Solutions Company in Indonesia

Tokyo (December 18, 2017)-Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone) today announced it has established PT. Bridgestone Mining Solutions Indonesia (BMSI) from November 9, 2017. BMSI integrates Bridgestone Corporation Jakarta Representative Office (BSJKT), which provides maintenance services for tires for construction and mining vehicles, with PT. Bridgestone Engineered Products Indonesia (BSEA-IN), a subsidiary in Indonesia that sells conveyor belts for mining applications. As part of this integration, BSEA-IN has been officially renamed as BMSI.

BMSI will function as a regional company similar to Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia Pty Ltd., which is scheduled to start operations in Australia effective January 1, 2018. BMSI will supply mining, construction and civil engineering field customers with custom mining solutions that encompasses tires, industrial products and services.
