MILWAUKEE, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Help is on the way for homeowners looking to tackle their outdoor cleaning projects this spring. Two new Husqvarna® pressure washers, manufactured by Briggs & Stratton Corporation (NYSE: BGG), will make it much easier for homeowners to clean driveways, patio decks, windows and siding, as well as completing other difficult outdoor cleaning tasks.
To better understand consumer needs, Briggs & Stratton conducted extensive market research with over 400 consumers. The study revealed that homeowners are seeking a pressure washer that is easier to maneuver and will have longer run time before the product requires refueling. Briggs & Stratton has addressed these needs with the introduction of the new Husqvarna® pressure washers.
"Consumers seeking an easy-to-maneuver pressure washer will be delighted with the Husqvarna models' 4-wheel design and 3-position fold-down handle. With an extra-large 3-gallon fuel tank, homeowners can run the product, depending on the model, for between five and seven hours of time before refueling the product," said Eric Loferski, director of marketing for Briggs & Stratton. The new lineup includes a 3100 Pounds/Per Square Inch (PSI), 2.8 gallons per minute (GPM) model and a 3300 PSI, 3.2 GPM model.(1) Both models feature:
