FOND DU LAC, Wis. (July 15, 2016)-Mercury Marine, the world's leading manufacturer of recreational marine propulsion engines, has announced an expanded partnership with Chaparral to include the Robalo brand.

The partnership will focus on Mercury's world-class outboard product offerings and give Robalo customers the opportunity to experience the power of Mercury Marine and continue the engine manufacturer's growth in key saltwater markets.

'The Robalo line-up of center console boats is outstanding, and we're delighted to expand our relationship with Chaparral to include Robalo', said John Pfeifer, Mercury Marine president. 'The combination of Robalo with Mercury outboards will provide a fantastic smooth, quiet and powerful ride.'

For years, Mercury Marine has worked with Chaparral, providing MerCruiser engines. Increasing its presence with the company to include the Robalo brand will allow Mercury to provide fully integrated Robalo boat packages to an expanded dealer network.

'We have been receiving calls from Robalo dealers around the country asking for Mercury engines,' said Randy Caruana, Mercury Marine vice president, the Americas and Asia Pacific. 'Consumers who are loyal to Robalo and who have experienced the Mercury advantage, are asking dealers to stock our outboard product. This is a great opportunity for boaters to experience two great brands which will enhance their boating experience.'
