Over 100 representatives of more than 80 international investment companies and funds participate in the Bulgarian Capital Market Day, which is held today, May 18 in London, UK. Among the most prominent investment companies and funds are Barclays, Citi, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, JP Morgan, Manulife, RBS, Renaissance Capital and T. Rowe International.
The purpose of the event organised by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is to present Bulgaria and the capital market in particular to foreign investors, as well as to place a special focus on eleven companies: Agria Group Holding, Bulgarian Real Estate Fund, Expat Capital, Elana AgroCredit, Corrado Bulgaria, Monbat, Sirma Group Holding, Sopharma, Sopharma Trading, Speedy and Fairplay Properties.
The opening ceremony, which took place earlier today, was attended by His Excellency Konstantin Dimitrov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Great Britain and Phil Bennett - First Vice President of the EBRD.
The forum continues in the afternoon with individual meetings between the management of Bulgarian companies and investors.
