Burkhalter Group completes acquisition of Kolb Group's electrical division

The Burkhalter Group is completing the purchase of the Kolb Group's electrical division in Rheintal. The purchase agreement was signed on 3 February 2015 with effect from today.

The Burkhalter Group, the leading provider of electrical engineering services to the construction sector, announced the acquisition of the Kolb Group's electrical division in Rheintal with the signing of the purchase agreement on 3 February 2015. Today marks the completion of the transaction. The four independent companies Kolb Elektro AG, Elektro SBW AG, Kolb Elektro SBW Aktiengesellschaft in Schaan (FL) and Kolb el-consult AG combined employ around 110 staff and generate annual sales of approx. CHF 19 million. The companies will retain their names and continue to be run by Managing Director and co-owner Daniel Kolb.
