BUWOG : employee event awarded as Austria's best employee event

• First place for the BUWOG Group in the category "Best Employee Event" at the EVA Event Awards 2017
• Internal event brought around 700 BUWOG employees to Vienna

The EVA Event Award 2017 was presented for the best business events in Austria as part of a large gala at Palais Todesco in Vienna. This year's BUWOG Group employee event was awarded first place in the category "Best Employee Event" by a jury of experts.

The residential property company BUWOG hosted its large three-day "Navigating the Future III" event in Vienna in mid-May. Around 700 BUWOG employees gathered from all locations in Austria and Germany to develop common strategies for the coming years and to learn from one other on the basis of "best practice". The primary locations of the event were the Vienna Gartenbaukino, Kursalon Hübner and the casemates of Palais Coburg. In addition to workshops, there was also a supporting programme in which the BUWOG colleagues from Germany were able to better familiarise themselves with the city of Vienna, where BUWOG's headquarters is located. Architectural tours, waltz courses and a visit to the Spanish Riding School were among the options provided. This enormous effort on behalf of all employees has now been rewarded at the EVA Event Award.

Ingrid Fitzek-Unterberger, head of marketing and communication, and the primary person responsible for BUWOG's employee event: "Offering such an extensive programme for around 700 employees on three days was a logistical and organisational challenge, but we succeeded in carrying it off with a great team. As a result of the event, all of BUWOG has grown together a bit more and we are proud that our event has now been honoured as the best employee event in Austria".
