In conjunction with Beerfest Asia the Asia Beer Awards were held yesterday afternoon in Singapore. A total of 160 beers across 15 categories were tasted and judged by a panel of 16 international experts. Two C&C Group brands won awards: Tennent’s 1885 Lager won a Bronze medal in the Lager Category and Heverlee Witte also won a Bronze medal in the Belgian Style Wheat Beer Category.

We’ve known for a long time that these are both fantastic brews and It’s great that these beers have been ranked as the best in class amongst their peer group in the Asia-Pacific region.
