C H Robinson Worldwide : Freightview Named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s SDCE 100 Top Supply Chain Projects for 2016

Overland Park, Kan. (June 28, 2016) - Freightview, a cloud-based freight management tool for small to mid-sized businesses, was selected by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as a recipient of an SDCE 100 Award for 2016. The SDCE 100 is an annual list of great supply chain projects that serve as a guide for executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations.

Freightview was recognized for its work in simplifying and streamlining freight management operations for its customer BioZyme, Inc. As BioZyme grew, it needed a solution to more efficiently handle its 250-300 less-than-truckload (LTL) orders per month. By using Freightview, BioZyme was able to streamline its shipping process of quoting, booking, tracking and the reporting of all their LTL shipments. Freightview's ability to instantly pull quotes from BioZyme's carriers has saved the company an estimated 10 minutes of processing time per shipment, saving a total of 50 hours per month.
