EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (October 26, 2017)- C.H. Robinson, a global third party logistics (3PL) company, raised $791,000 for local and global nonprofits through a month-long, employee-led giving campaign calledRobinson Cares. In addition to the funds raised, employees volunteered more than 1,450 hours for their neighbors in need.

The employees drive the annual campaign, selecting charities, hosting fundraisers, donating their own funds and volunteering their time. 'Our employees are the best in the logistics industry,' said Molly Dubois, vice president at C.H. Robinson and campaign co-chair. 'They made a real impact in the communities where we live, work, and play.'

The campaign funds, donations and volunteerism supported over 250 nonprofits, helping children and adults through times of hardship and need. An example, the Charleston office worked with theCarolina Youth Development Center. 'The C.H. Robinson team volunteered time with our youth, creating a 16-square foot mural that stirs pride in our children every day; donated clothing that will be worn by kids who enter Carolina Youth Development Center with no possessions other than the clothes on their backs; and made a financial investment that will support the individualized care we provide our youth, including planning for their education, personal development, independent living and family involvement goals,' said Gordon Robertson III, vice president of development at the Carolina Youth Development Center.

Since 1999, Robinson Cares has raised over $4 million. In 2016, thecampaign expanded, and this year had over 60 offices participate across North America.

'Our dedicated network of global supply chain experts truly go above and beyond to help the communities we are proud to call home.' said Dan Ryan, vice president at C.H.
