CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced the 10th symposium in the critical Asymmetric Threat symposia series on national security challenges, titled “What Does It Take to Protect America? Combatting Global Asymmetric Threats.” Symposium 10 will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Valo Park in McLean, Virginia. The symposium is co-sponsored with the Center for Security Policy (CSP), the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), and the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, an affiliate of the Air Force Association.

This non-partisan, not‐for‐profit symposium is part of the Asymmetric Threat series, established in 2008 by CACI as a forum for furthering the national dialogue on asymmetric threats to national security. This year’s symposium will discuss how asymmetric threats have expanded in prevalence and complexity, and what means the United States possesses to safeguard its national security against these threats. Confirmed keynote speakers include Admiral John M. Richardson, Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), and General Stephen W. Wilson, Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force (VCSAF).

According to CACI Executive Chairman and Chairman of the Board, Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, “The 10th symposium in the Asymmetric Threat symposia series is a significant opportunity to reflect on lessons learned over the past decade and help craft innovative and multi-dimensional approaches across government and industry to defeat adversaries who challenge us in every domain. CACI and our symposium co-sponsors, the Center for Security Policy, the Institute for the Study of War, and the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, are committed to advancing this critical dialogue.”

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “By facilitating the asymmetric threat discourse and featuring experts from the Department of Defense, federal civilian agencies, academia, and industry, we help advance innovative capabilities and sophisticated strategies to counter escalating national security threats worldwide. Such thought leadership also reinforces our commitment to our customers’ critical missions.”

The ninth symposium in the Asymmetric Threat series, held in October of 2016, focused on offset strategies for national security and featured panels and discussions with thought leaders from government, industry, and academia.
