Significant EventCaixaBank hereby reports that today its Board of Directors, after a favourable report from the Appointments Committees, resolved to appoint the independent director Francesc Xavier Vives Torrents as its Lead Independent Director. This appointment shall take effect once the modification to the By-laws approved by the Annual General Meeting on 6 April 2017 (Significant Event 250402) is authorised by the European Central Bank.
