About the Dow Jones Sustainability Index

The DJSI is a global index that evaluates good practices at companies based on social, environmental and corporate governance criteria. It then selects firms that lead their industries in terms of sustainable growth strategies.

Launched in 1999, the DJSI is one of the key indexes for those investors who factor in sustainability criteria when building and managing investment portfolios. Around 3,000 companies worldwide were invited to take part in the evaluation, of which just 319 were subsequently included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World.

The results of the 2014 DJSI can be viewed as of today at the official website (http://www.sustainability-indices.com).
