Significant EventCaixaBank hereby announces that the Board of Directors today decided to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers Auditores, S.L. as auditor of the Company and its consolidated group for the financial years 2018, 2019 and 2020. The decision was taken on the basis of a motivated recommendation by the Audit and Control Committee, on completion of the selection process carried through pursuant to the criteria laid down in EU Regulation 537/2014 of 16 April on specific requirements regarding the statutory audit of public-interest entities. The Board shall propose this appointment at the next Ordinary General Shareholders' Meeting.
