DUBLIN, CA--(Marketwired - May 10, 2016) - Callidus Software Inc. (
Litmos' VR Immersive 360 video player allows organizations to use low-cost, off-the-shelf camera equipment to create fully immersive learning experiences that can cut on-boarding times and provide learners with a deeper learning experience.
Litmos also announced Bot, which allows students to remain at remote locations and still receive personalized instruction and instructor interaction through a student-controlled stand-in telepresence robot.
"The experience of working with a virtual instructor through a computer monitor is limited -- it just can't provide the same immersive feel that students get through Litmos Bot and VR," said Rory Cameron, executive vice president, Litmos and Clicktools at CallidusCloud. "It's a natural extension of the Litmos platform's approach to mobile learning, and it offers significant cost savings in travel, accommodations and scheduling."
Litmos is a learning management platform that enables enterprises to rapidly deploy education programs to customers, partners and employees. Designed with mobility in mind, the platform allows content to be consumed on any device and within the applications the users already access for a true embedded learning experience.
