To kick off the NFL season, Campbell's Chunky soup celebrated its newest Mama's Boy - NFL cornerback Richard Sherman - and his athleticism on the gridiron by creating a statue lined with Campbell's Chunky soup materials. The structure commemorates Sherman's iconic defensive play during the 2014 NFC championship, which helped punch Seattle's ticket to Super Bowl XLVIII.

Beverly Sherman, Richard's mother, unveiled the unique structure at the Touchdown City fan experience next to CenturyLink Field. Additionally, Mr. and Mrs. Seahawk, two Seattle Seahawk superfans who are featured in the Campbell's Chunky commercial along with Richard and Beverly, were in attendance.

This year, Campbell's Chunky is highlighting five new soup flavors which are incorporated into the statue and were distributed at the Campbell's Chunky tent in Touchdown City. In addition to having it onsite for fans to enjoy, Campbell's Chunky made a donation of 5,000 cans to the West Seattle Food Bank.
