CANCOM SE enlarges Executive Board

Thomas Volk will join the Executive Board of CANCOM SE on November 1, 2017 as President and General Manager. An additional Executive Board member, CFO Thomas Stark, is also to be appointed.

Munich, Germany, October 16, 2017 - The IT Group CANCOM is adding to its top management. In order to rigorously pursue its ambitious growth targets for the next few years, and to progress the transformation of its business model towards cloud and managed services, the TecDAX-listed company is appointing experienced manager Thomas Volk to its Executive Board. As President and General Manager, he will be responsible for the Group's go-to-market strategy, in addition to marketing, sales, consulting and international business. Thomas Volk has many years of international experience as a successful CEO and general manager of a number of global players and small and medium sized enterprises in the IT sector. He has extensive expertise in growth and transformation processes, and has also led and overseen numerous M&A transactions and integration projects.

Current CFO Thomas Stark is to be officially appointed to the Executive Board. His responsibilities include finance, governance, risk and compliance, investor relations, legal, and human resources, as well as corporate information systems and security.

CANCOM announced the enlarged Executive Board on July 1, 2017 when it appointed several Executive Vice Presidents. The addition of the new members is intended to support the Executive Board's strategy and help achieve its objectives at an operational level.
