London, 17 September 2013 - Canon and Allcopy Products (UK) Limited ("Allcopy") in the UK have reached an out-of-court resolution of disputes over Allcopy's alleged patent infringement, trade mark infringement, copyright infringement and passing off concerning certain toner bottle products sold for use in Canon copy machines.



As a result of the resolution, Allcopy has agreed to cease now and for the future the manufacturing, importing, disposing, offering, using or keeping of any toner bottle products that infringe Canon's patent in issue in the dispute, including the following product numbers: ACP-IRAC2030-Yellow, ACP-IRAC2030-Magenta, ACP-IRAC2030-Cyan, ACP-IRAC2030-Black, ACP-IRAC5045-Yellow, ACP-IRAC5045-Magenta, ACP-IRAC5045-Cyan, ACP-IRAC5045-Black, ACP-IRAC5030-Yellow, ACP-IRAC5030-Magenta, ACP-IRAC5030-Cyan, ACP-IRAC5030-Black, ACP-IR2270-00C, ACP-IR5055-00C, ACP-IR5570-00C, ACP-IR7086-00C, ACP-IR2520-00C and ACP-IR2535-00C.  Allcopy has also agreed that it will not in the future infringe Canon's trade mark and copyright in issue in the dispute or pass off themselves or their products as being associated with Canon, including in relation to the toner bottle products referred to above and, in addition, ACP-IRC2880-Magenta, ACP-IRC2880-Black, ACP-IRC2880-Cyan and ACP-IRC2880-Yellow.
