Canon U.S.A. Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, and Virtual Imaging, Inc., a Canon U.S.A. subsidiary, today announced the availability of the RadPRO1 DELINIA 200 Digital X-ray Acquisition Cart that transports the Canon CXDI-701C/801C/401C Wireless detectors with Auto Detection mode to provide healthcare organizations a cost-effective way to transition to DR technology.

The RadPRO DELINIA 200 Digital X-ray Acquisition Cart comes equipped with a computer, access point, touch screen monitor, detector holder, and a choice of the Canon CXDI-701C, CXDI-801C, or CXDI-401C Wireless DR system. In X-ray Auto Detection mode, the detector will detect X-rays at exposure and shift to image acquisition mode automatically, without the use of a typical X-ray generator interface. As a result, the Canon wireless detector can deliver high-quality imaging and help accelerate exams by providing results within seconds, using the installed X-ray generator in an existing radiography room or a mobile generator, without the need for cabling or special interfacing. These capabilities are now portable and can be shared among multiple rooms, using the RadPRO DELINIA 200 Digital X-ray Acquisition Cart.

"RadPRO digital radiography solutions, equipped with Canon leading-edge imaging technology, are designed to deliver high-resolution imaging with a low X-ray dose to the patient and to support an efficient and customizable workflow for the imaging department," said Tsuneo Imai, vice president and general manager, Healthcare Solutions Division, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. and president, Virtual Imaging, Inc. "In addition, we strive to provide healthcare professionals products that offer flexibility and ease of use to help them deliver patient-focused care. The new RadPRO DELINIA 200 Digital X-ray Acquisition Cart provides an entirely new way for an organization to employ Canon digital radiography technology. For organizations that have not made the transition from CR to DR because of cost and possible disruption to their normal operations, it provides another cost-effective way to transition to DR technology."
