Fight to Glory went gate to wire in the $50,000 L'Etoile du Nord Stakes in a rapid 1:09.46 for six furlongs, the fastest

ridden by last season's leading jockey Jareth Loveberry. The five-year old paid $3.80 to win. Fight to Glory, a 4-year-old
filly owned by Charles Garvey, paid $5.00, and was ridden by Orlando Mojica.
A crowd of 19,326 turned out for a simulcast of the 144th Kentucky Derby. Racing continues Friday at 6:30 p.m. and
Saturday at 12:45 p.m.
