Cape announces Non-Executive Director changes

Cape plc announces the appointment of Steve Good as a non-executive director and chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 6 July 2015.

Steve is based in the UK and joins Cape with extensive international experience in the specialty chemicals and plastics industries. He is currently non-executive director on the boards of Elementis plc, Zotefoams plc and Anglian Water Services Limited. Steve spent ten years with Low & Bonar plc initially as Divisional Managing Director of Plastics before leading the Group's M&A activity and then going on to head the Technical Textiles division before his final role as Chief Executive - a role he held from 2009 to 2014 when he retired from full time executive roles. Prior to Low & Bonar, Steve had a long career with BTP plc (now part of Clariant) in a variety of leadership positions managing international specialty chemical businesses. Steve is a Chartered Accountant.

In accordance with the UK Listing Rules, the Company confirms that there are no further details that are required to be disclosed under paragraph LR 9.6.13 R of the UK Listing Rules in respect of Steve Good.

Leslie Van de Walle has decided to step down from Board of Cape in order to reduce his current level of travel commitments, this is effective from 26 August 2015.
