MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capella University, (http://www.capella.edu), a regionally accredited online university which offers online degree programs to help working adults advance in their careers, announces today that Cole Edmonson, DNP, RN, FACHE, NEA-BC, FAAN, has joined Capella's School of Nursing and Health Sciences Advisory Board.

For the past 20 years, Edmonson has served in a variety of leadership roles including direct-care nurse, supervisor, manager, director and associate chief nursing officer. He currently serves as chief nursing officer at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.As a member of the advisory board, Edmonson will collaborate with Capella leaders and faculty to help curricula effectively build the competencies for today's complex health care environment.
