Tuesday 26 September from 5:30pm - 280 High Holborn, London.

The Future of Real Estate seminar will look beyond the immediate investment horizon to explore the very nature of the industry and how it is changing. Paul Clark, development director at GL Hearn, part of Capita, will be moderating a panel of academics and industry experts who will discuss the major themes in the industry today.

The event is organised in conjunction with the Cambridge University Land Society (CULS) and speakers include:

  • Professor Hiram Samel, associate professor of international business at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, looking at what has changed in the political spectrum over the last 18 months and some ideas about how these changes will affect business and real assets.
  • Professor Andrew Baum, chairman of Property Funds Research and of Newcore Capital Management, on his latest publication, PropTech 3.0: the future of Real Estate, mapping the emerging sector and, in particular, on the impact of tech change on the character of the asset class.
  • Yolande Barnes, head of Savills World Research, on her latest research giving an insight into how we are living differently, specifically the evolution of the city
  • Lottie Tollman, partner at Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on the latest research being undertaken by the Cushman Team, and specifically what trends and opportunities we should be thinking about for the immediate future.

After the discussion, there will be the opportunity for Q&A and networking as well as drinks.
