Capital & Counties Properties PLC ('Capco') is delighted to have signed four new leases at Covent Garden's Royal Opera House Arcade. Including British lifestyle brand Mulberry, the new signings are part of the strategy to reposition the Royal Opera House Arcade with a luxury accessories and gifting focus. These brands evidence the continued transformation of Covent Garden, and the introduction of luxury accessories to the Arcade for the first time.

The leases follow on from a recent pre-let to Petersham Nurseries in the Kings Court development, VyTA Santa Margherita in the Market Building and SUSHISAMBA on Opera Terrace.

The new leases signed are:

  • The Watch Gallery, the UK's leading independent luxury watch retailer - selling brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Hublot, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Tudor, Tag Heuer and Breitling. The store is scheduled to open in September.
  • Mulberry, the British lifestyle brand which specialises in the finest leather goods, is expected to open in September.
  • Lulu Guinness, iconic British accessories fashion brand, is relocating within the Royal Opera House Arcade in September.
  • Poiray, the captivating French jewellery house located in Place Vendôme, which specialises in its changeable and transformable pieces, will be opening its first UK store in Covent Garden for Christmas, following the vacation and refurbishment of the premises.

Ian Hawksworth, Chief Executive of Capco, commented: 'These signings demonstrate how Covent Garden is continuing its transformation as we continue to attract fantastic premium brands to the estate. These brands underline our strategy to introduce luxury accessories in the Royal Opera House Arcade and reinforce Covent Garden's reputation as a world class destination for leading brands.'
