Cardinal Bank (NASDAQ: CFNL) is pleased to announce that Linda Greenan has joined the company as Vice President and Client Relations Officer. Greenan will have responsibility for sales prospecting and lead generation in the Greater Washington business and consumer communities, as well as community engagement as a member of the Washington, DC and Maryland Market Team.

Greenan is a respected and influential voice in the DC business community. With a diverse range of professional experiences and personal interests, she has been active in higher education, public service and community relations for almost three decades. Most recently, Greenan spent eighteen years at Georgetown University as Associate Vice President for External Relations. Prior to her tenure at Georgetown, she was Chief of Staff to DC Councilman Jack Evans for four years managing two successful political campaigns. Earlier in her career, Greenan was Director of Public Policy at Child Welfare League of America working with congressional committees on a range of child welfare issues.

A longtime resident of the District, Greenan holds Bachelor and Masters Degrees from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She gives back to the business community through her active service in numerous community and volunteer organizations. Greenan currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Events DC/Washington Convention and Sports Authority, which manages the city’s convention center, Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, the D.C. Armory and the Carnegie Library, and the Georgetown Waterfront Park Commission. She is a past board member of the DC Sports & Entertainment Commission, which was the city agency responsible for returning Major League Baseball to the city and for the construction of Nationals Stadium, The Georgetown Business Association, and the DC Chamber of Commerce. Greenan is a graduate of Leadership Greater Washington Class of ’99.
