Professional infrastructure and environmental services firm Cardno today achieved a significant milestone, reinforcing its global commitment to the highest possible safety performance.

The company is celebrating 365 continual working days without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) across all global operations.

This is the equivalent of about 12,489,000 total working hours dating back to October 2013, and highlights Cardno's reputation amongst clients for implementing robust and vigilant safety practices.

Cardno CEO Michael Renshaw said the result was a testament to the hard work and diligence of the company's entire
8,200-strong workforce.

"This is a great achievement for everyone at Cardno," he said. "Our staff understand the importance of creating a safe workplace and ensuring near misses and hazards are reported."

Cardno's Americas Region has not experienced an LTI since November 2012 - a total of 690 working days and 13 million working hours.

The company's Zero Harm approach to safety is reinforced by its safety policies, process and systems.
