On December 3, 2014, the Food Safety Dialogue themed "Food safety, Our Responsibility" was organized by Carrefour (China) Foundation Food Safety in Beijing. This dialogue was to celebrate the 10th Y anniversary of Carrefour (China) Foundation for Food Safety and also remarked as one of the series events for the 50th Y anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations.

Mr Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, the French Ambassador to China, Mr Huang Hai, Former Assistant to the Minister of MOFCOM, Mr Jerome BEDIER, General Secretary of Carrefour Group, Mr Thierry GARNIER, Vice-President of Carrefour Group and President& CEO of Carrefour China, representatives of associations, professors, experts, journalists, suppliers, farmers as well as Carrefour China teams attended this dialogue. Mr Maurice Gourdault-Montagne delivered the greeting speech. He pointed out food safety is an important part of the international cooperation between France and China. During the dialogue, Mr Jerome BEDIER shared the advanced experience and practise in European, and Mr Thierry GARNIER introduced the actions and efforts that Carrefour China has made on food safety in the decade.

Established in 2004, Carrefour (China) Foundation for Food Safety is a non-profit public organization committed to promoting food safety in China.  For dedicating to improving China's food safety, a majority of activities on food safety related with nutrition and health are conducted.  Best Cooperation Partner, Best Agriculture Sustainable Contribution, Best Food Safety Contribution, Best Health & Nutrition Contribution were awarded on this ceremony.
