Since November 14th, Brazilians can use their smartphones to buy products and services quickly, safely and easily via Android Pay. Google announced the launch of the service in Brazil at an event in São Paulo.

Brazil is the 17th country to introduce Android Pay, which is already available in countries like the United States, Spain, Russia and Japan. The service was initially launched in the United States in September 2015.

Among the companies that accept Android Pay in Brazil are Carrefour, Casa do Pão de Queijo, Rei do Mate, Café do Ponto, Hering and Ipiranga.
