PIKIT is a service developed by Carrefour's teams that will be available to the general public starting in 2016 designed to make shopping at Drive outlets easier.
An experience designed to make everyday life more straightforward for thousands of the retailer's customers. Pitched as the new must-have accessory for the home, customers can use PIKIT to prepare their shopping trips before they leave the house: they simply scan the products that they want to purchase or dictate them into the device.

A whole new approach for the retailer and one which brings with it numerous benefits: with PIKIT, customers spend an average of two thirds less time on shopping. And they have more freedom too - they shop when they need to or whenever they feel like it.

PIKIT: never has shopping been so easy

Pikit is designed to be straightforward and intuitive to use. It's easy to hold and features several optimum storage options (it's magnetic so can be stuck on the refrigerator or hung from a hook). Now you no longer need to switch on your PC or open up an app to log on and look for the product you want on the website. With Pikit, you can:
> Scan products' barcodes,
> Dictate shopping lists using the integrated microphone,
> Compile a list of what you need without the risk of forgetting anything.
Before you confirm your order, you can have a look at your list and add, delete or even select similar products. Then all you have to do is go to your nearest Drive and pick up your shopping!

PIKIT: an innovation at the intersection between the physical and digital experience

With PIKIT, Carrefour is once again using technology to help its customers, bringing together the online and off-line experience in the form of a multichannel device.

Completely designed by Carrefour's E-Commerce and Innovation teams, PIKIT features exclusive technical solutions developed by the retailer. Carrefour has pledged to support SMEs and so has entrusted production of PIKIT to ELOANE, a small Brittany-based company that specialises in connected objects.
