AD HOC INFORMATION C.A.T.oil AG files Statement of Facts against Former Management Board

- Suspicion of breach of trust in the procurement of investment goods via companies not belonging to the Group acting as intermediaries and earning millions in margins without objective grounds
Vienna, April 10, 2015
Today C.A.T.oil AG filed a statement of facts with the Central Public Prosecutor's Office for the Prosecution of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Vienna, presenting circumstances against inter alia Anna Brinkmann and Edward Brinkmann, which sets out reasons substantiating reasonable suspicion of breach of trust.
The statement of facts relates to transactions in connection with a procurement system which the two suspects established at the C.A.T.oil AG Group in recent years. In purchasing investment goods for business operations of C.A.T.oil AG, companies not belonging to the Group were used as intermediaries. These companies profited from the procurement system to a double-digit million amount without any discernible economic justification. There is a strong suspicion that these companies can be ascribed to Anna Brinkmann, and that the procurement system at C.A.T.oil AG was deliberately implemented to the detriment of C.A.T.oil AG.
