Cathay Financial Holding Co. (2882.TW) said Tuesday its life insurance unit will sign a memordandum of understanding with China's Zking Property & Casaualty insurance Co. after gaining board approval.
Cathay Financial, Taiwan's biggest financial conglomerate by assets, said under the agreement, the two companies will exchange operating experience.
Taiwan's financial companies are striving to expand beyond the island's saturated insurance market.
