Publication of Circular and Notice of General Meeting

Further to its announcement on 10 October 2017, CC Japan Income & Growth Trust plc (the 'Company') announces that it has today published a shareholder circular (the 'Circular') to convene a general meeting to be held on 19 December 2017. The primary purpose of the meeting is to extend the Company's authority to allot new shares on a non-pre-emptive basis and to allow the implementation of a new share issuance programme. The Company is also seeking approval to issue new shares to a related party pursuant to the share issuance programme. Full details of the resolutions to be voted on by shareholders of the Company at the general meeting, along with the time and location of the general meeting, are contained within the Circular.

Copies of the Circular will shortly be available for inspection at the Company's registered office (Mermaid House, 2 Puddle Dock, London EC4V 3DB) and via the Company's website (www.ccjapanincomeandgrowthtrust.com). The Circular will also shortly be available via the National Storage Mechanism (www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM).

As announced previously, the Company intends to publish a new prospectus soon after the general meeting containing details of the new share issuance programme, which it plans to implement later in its current financial year. A further announcement giving details of the prospectus will be made in due course.
