"CEB's commitment to and enthusiasm for serving the community exceeds our expectations every year," said Jerry Sorkin, head of CEB's Global Corporate Citizenship. "The positive change that these efforts bring about - whether it's cleaning up a beloved park, serving meals to the homeless or providing support to LGBT youth - is inspiring and continues to deepen the company's presence and relationships in our local communities."

The global week of service represents CEB's core value of the Spirit of Generosity and expansion of its ongoing philanthropic efforts. Over the last 30 years, the organization has donated millions of dollars in financial resources and thousands of volunteer hours.

A new aspect of CEB's service activities this year was a weeklong fellowship program in Cartago, Costa Rica. CEB partnered with Cross Cultural Solutions to send 10 employees to represent CEB in Cartago to support various service activities including preparing and serving meals to local residents as well as building and planting vegetable gardens throughout the community.

"We left Cartago inspired to do more and to encourage others to do the same," said Ben Scott, senior account manager, CEB. "As individuals and as an organization, we have so much to give through our service to the community. This experience was a privilege."
