PRESS RELEASE Central Bank of India organized a unique Training Program for visually impaired employees of banking industry

Central Bank of India recently organized a unique Training Program for visually impaired employees of banking industry, in collaboration with SBI Foundation for employees of Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India & Dena Bank. Looking at the latest technological needs, employees with visual impairment were trained to get acquainted with the knowledge of computer & various other Assistive Tools useful to them. This was the first such capacity building initiative launched at Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala Bankers Training College, Mumbai by Central Bank of India.

The program was inaugurated at Sir SPBT College, Mumbai by Shri B. Ashok, General Manager (HR), Central Bank of India. Other dignitaries present were Mrs. Padmja Nair, Advisor, COE, SBI Foundation, Ms. Poppy Sharma, Principal, Sir SPBT College & Shri Sayed Kunmir, Vice Principal, Sir SPBT College.
