Centrica : U.S. Department of Energy names Direct Energy Business as a Financial Ally in the Better Buildings® Initiative

Centrica plc has today announced the appointment of Direct Energy Business as a Financial Ally with the Department of Energy's (DoE) Better Business Initiative, established to help public and private organisations find financing for energy efficiency and renewable projects.

Working in partnership with Centrica's Distributed Energy & Power business, Direct Energy Business offers businesses and other large energy users the latest distributed energy solutions, designed to help customers manage energy costs, boost site resilience and bring down carbon emissions.

Direct Energy Business and ENER-G Rudox, a leading supplier of onsite power and energy solutions acquired by Centrica's Distributed Energy & Power business in 2016, will now be featured on the DoE Financial Navigator online search tool. The site launched in January this year to help businesses explore a wide array of financing choices and identify relevant financing options for their energy efficiency projects. Other notable Financial Allies include Bank of America, Citi, PACE financiers, Green Banks, innovative finance start-ups and think-tank coalitions.
