CESP - COMPANHIA ENERGÉTICA DE SÃO PAULO NOTICE TO THE MARKET
CESP - Companhia Energética de São Paulo ("CESP"), hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general, in compliance with CVM Instruction 308/99 and subsequent amendments, the contracting of BDO RCS Auditores Independentes S / S ( "BDO") to carry out an independent external audit of CESP, replacing Ernst & Young Auditores Independentes S / S ("EY").
BDO RCS will begin its activities based on the review of the quarterly information ("ITRs") for the first quarter of 2017.
The contracting aim to comply with Article 31 of CVM Instruction 308/99, which determines the rotation of independent auditors each five years.
In addition, CESP informs that it has obtained the consent of Ernst & Young with regard to the justification for the referred change.
