CESP - Companhia Energética de São Paulo ("CESP"), pursuant to CVM Instruction No. 358 dated 03/01/2002, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that due to the resignation on this date of Mr. Laurence Casagrande Lourenço to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Company, the Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Officer, Mr. Almir Fernando Martins, assumes the Company's Presidency, in accordance with Article 18 of the Company's Bylaws.
