Cetip SA Mercados Organizados, formerly Cetip SA Balcao Organizado de Ativos e Derivativos, is a Brazil-based company engaged in the financial sector. It acts as a depository of corporate fixed income securities and a private asset clearinghouse in the Brazilian financial market. Its activities are divided into two segments: Securities and Financing. The Securities division is responsible trading and registration of securities, government and corporate fixed income bonds, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives. It also provides financial settlement and clearinghouse operations, processing and registration of credit transaction data, as well as analysis of potential issues, among others. The Financing area comprises products and services offered by subsidiary, GRV Info Tecnologia SA, such as operation of an integrated electronic system for conducting various types of online transactions, including auctions and trading of government and corporate bonds.
