Multi-vendor US$900 million BPA ranges from
infrastructure to emerging solutions
Fairfax, Virginia, May 30, 2012-
CGI Federal Inc. (CGI), a wholly-owned U.S. operating
subsidiary of CGI Group Inc. (NYSE: GIB) (TSX: GIB.A) has
been selected by the U.S. Agency for International
Development (USAID) for its five-year IT Forward Blanket
Purchase Agreement (BPA). CGI is one of five large
businesses awarded a position on the BPA, which has a total
value of US$900 million.
The IT Forward vehicle supports USAID's ambitious reform
effort, USAID FORWARD. This initiative focuses on seven key
mission and business areas that will deliver innovation and
results across the worldwide USAID organization. Under the
vehicle, CGI will deliver a range of design, modernization,
enhancement, and operations services for the agency's .
