PARIS, FRANCE--(Marketwired - Jul 7, 2014) - CGI (NYSE:GIB) (TSX:GIB.A) has been selected by Michelin to serve as the preferred partner for all of its procurement, marketing, sales and corporate finance applications and their development, related to its activities in Europe and North America.

Based on an innovative co-management model, CGI will support Michelin's transformation program with easy-to-use solutions that can be readily made available to users. The objective is to facilitate daily tasks, while assuring system security and integrity. Specific examples include the optimization of production management at Michelin, as well as the acceleration of new product launches.

Under the terms of the new contract, CGI will be supplying Michelin with consulting, design, and computer application maintenance and support services in Europe and North America. CGI will also be applying its agile methodology and business intelligence know-how, as well as its extensive information technologies expertise by way of its French and American teams located in Clermont-Ferrand and Greenville (South Carolina), respectively.
