Unit4, a fast growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, today announced a partnership agreement with CGI(TSX:GIB.A) (NYSE:GIB), the fifth largest independent information technology and business process services firm in the world. CGI will provide systems integration services to customers implementing Unit4 Business World Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). CGI’s initial focus will be on public sector industries in Western Canada.

“CGI is a trusted integrator with organizations around the globe,” says Scott Kamieneski, SVP and Managing Director of Unit4 in North America. “We have been collaborating successfully with CGI and are very impressed with their high quality services that enable their customers to achieve their business goals. This is the first step toward a long-term, strategic relationship.”

Today’s announcement builds on Unit4’s efforts to build a strong partner ecosystem across North America and expand its global professional services capacity, leveraging CGI’s depth of experience in ERP systems implementations.

“CGI is excited about this partnership agreement with Unit 4,” says Tony Dellaviola, RVP for British Columbia. “This partnership will open opportunities in the mid-market of the ERP space. Our clients across numerous verticals are enthusiastic about our entry into this collaboration. This partnership provides a complete offering for end-to-end ERP solutions: planning, pre-implementation, legacy data migration, integration, software implementation, training, and long term support. Most importantly, our new clients will experience CGI’s commitment; assisting with achieving long term growth and business success.”

In a January 12, 2015 announcement, Unit4 CEO Jose Duarte announced a global partner ecosystem to extend the company’s sales and delivery capabilities offering customers added value and choice, and to “challenge the status quo” in the ERP market with innovative new offerings.
