New York, NY, - Spectrum News Syracuse today announced it will host the first televised Democratic primary debate between candidates Martin Masterpole, Joe Nicoletti, and Juanita Perez Williams for Mayor of Syracuse on August 15 at 7 PM EDT.

The hour-long, commercial-free debate will be moderated by Capital Tonight Host Liz Benjamin with Spectrum News Reporter Iris St. Meran and Post-Standard Reporter Chris Baker as panelists. The candidates will square off on key issues of importance to Syracuse residents in a closed debate.

The debate will be televised exclusively on the network at 7 PM EDT on channels 1, 10 and 200 throughout Central and Northern New York.
