The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings Limited (the "Company") announces that Ms. Chen Tsien Hua ("Ms. Chen") has been appointed as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st January, 2017.

Ms. Chen Tsien Hua, aged 54, is the Head of Business Development of the Company since 2005 and has been responsible for the Company's international investment activities. She joined Hutchison Whampoa Limited, which is a substantial shareholder of the Company within the meaning of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong ("SFO"), in August 1992 and has been with the Company since July 1996. Ms. Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from The University of Hong Kong and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Save as disclosed above, Ms. Chen does not have any relationship with any other Directors, senior management or substantial or controlling shareholders of the Company. She does not have interests in shares of the Company within the meaning of Part XV of the SFO. Pursuant to the Company's Bye-laws, Ms. Chen will hold office until the next annual general meeting of the Company when she will be eligible for re-election. Her appointment shall then be subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at general meetings of the Company in accordance with the Company's Bye-laws. The Director's fee of Ms. Chen as an Executive Director of the Company under her appointment letter is HK$75,000 per annum. The emoluments of Directors are determined by reference to the Company's performance and profitability, as well as the prevailing market conditions.

Save as disclosed herein, there are no other matters concerning Ms. Chen's appointment as an Executive Director that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company nor any information to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of Rule 13.51(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
