Chevron Corporation : Chevron : One Crude Unit Down Temporarily After Calif. Blaze

Chevron Corp. (CVX) spokesman Brent Tippen said one crude distillation unit at its Richmond, Calif., refinery is down "temporarily" following a fire Monday night, but other parts of the refinery are still operating.
"We are working to repair the affected equipment," Mr. Tippen said.
He declined to say how much production could be affected by the shut-down unit or how long the repairs will last. The company is investigating what caused the fire.
