THE WOODLANDS, Texas, April 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CB&I (NYSE:CBI) today announced it has been awarded contracts valued in excess of $640 million by Toyo Engineering Corporation to provide ethylene technology, basic engineering and cracker heater supply, as well as construction services for the Shintech Ethane Cracker Project in Plaquemine, Louisiana.

The ethylene plant will employ CB&I's latest, proven ethylene technology, including highly selective SRT(®) cracking heaters and its innovative recovery section design, featuring low pressure separation and mixed refrigeration to minimize investment costs.
