LONDON (Dow Jones)--The International Grains Council Thursday downwardly revised its estimate for world wheat production in 2012-13 by 5 million metric tons to 676 million tons, due to worse-than-expected winter damage and recent dry conditions sharply reducing the European Union crop forecast.
