(Stock Code: 998) ANNOUNCEMENT APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE SUPERVISORS

This announcement is made by China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited (the "Bank") pursuant to Rule 13.51(2) of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules").
Ms. Wen Shuping ("Ms. Wen"), Mr. Cheng Pusheng ("Mr. Cheng") and Mr. Ma Haiqing ("Mr. Ma"), employee representative supervisors of the fourth session of the board of supervisors of the Bank (the "Board of Supervisors"), were elected by the trade union of the Bank. Their term will end on the expiry date of the term of office of the fourth session of the Board of Supervisors.
Ms. Wen's biographical details are as follows:
Ms. Wen Shuping, aged 58, Ms. Wen joined Nanchang Branch of the Bank in November
2007. Since June 2013, she has been serving as the chairman of the trade union (vice president level) of the Nanchang Branch. From March 2011 to June 2013, she served as a member of the CPC Committee (vice president level), the chairman of the trade union and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. From July 2009 to March
2011, she was a member of the CPC Committee (president's assistant level), the chairman of the trade union and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. During April 2009 to July 2009, she was a member of the CPC Committee (president's assistant level) and the chairman of the trade union. She was chairman of the trade union from February 2008 to April 2009. From November 2007 to February 2008, she was the
Secretary of the Party Committee. From January 2003 to October 2007, Ms. Wen served as a deputy department director level cadre at the Jiangxi Branch of China Development Bank. She worked at the Business Department of the Jiangxi Branch of Agricultural Development Bank of China from March 1997 to December 2002. During May 1998 to December 2002, she was the deputy director of the Personnel Training Department and the Organization Department of the Jiangxi Branch of Agricultural Development Bank of China. She worked at the Personnel Training Department in the same branch office from March 1997 to April 1998. Ms. Wen worked at the Personnel Department of the Jiangxi Nanchang Suburb Branch of Agricultural Bank of China from May 1991 to February
1997 where she was an officer and then a deputy section chief. From October 1987 to April 1991, Ms. Wen worked at the Jiangxi Fengcheng Branch of Agricultural Bank of China. She was an officer at the Personnel Office of the same branch office from January
1990 to April 1991. She served as a member card account officerbookkeeper at the Nantouxiang Savings Office from October 1987 to December 1989. From March 1985 to September 1987, Ms. Wen worked at the trade union of the Food Bureau of Jiangxi Yichun Shanggao County as the Secretary of Youth League Committee and a trade union officer. From June 1983 to February 1985 she was a statistician for the Grain and Cooking Oil Processing Factory of Jiangxi Yichun Shanggao County. From June 1980 to May 1983, Ms. Wen worked at Zhendu Grain Management Agency of the Food System of Shanggao County, in charge of accounting, purchasing and sales and storage work. From December 1978 to May 1980, after being approved by Shanggao County as a "Sanjiehe Cadre" (which belonged to "sent-down youth" at that time), she served as the deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League and deputy director of the All-China Women's Federation of Zhendu Commune, Shanggao County. From July 1975 to November 1978, she was sent to Jingtou Village, Zhendu Commune, Shanggao County and was elected as a member of the policy education team of the commune and the county. Ms. Wen holds a bachelor degree in political education.
Mr. Cheng's biographical details are as follows:
Mr. Cheng, aged 47, has been appointed as general manager of the audit department of the Bank since May 2015, after his qualification being approved by China Banking Regulatory Commission. Mr Cheng previously served as the manager of the centralized purchasing center of the Bank from October 2013 to January 2015, deputy general manager of planning and finance department and general manager of financial management department of the Bank from March 2011 to October 2013. From August
2008 to March 2011, Mr Cheng held the positions of assistant general manager of the planning and finance department and general manager of financial management department of the Bank. He served as the general manager of financial management department of planning and finance department of the Bank from June 2005 to August
2008, and worked as deputy general manager of budget management department under planning and finance department of the Bank from March 2004 to June 2005. He also worked as a staff, deputy chief, chief and deputy manager of the planning and finance management department from July 1995 to March 2004. Mr Cheng received his master degree from Graduate faculty of Shanxi Institute of Finance and Economics in July 1995.
Prior to that, Mr Cheng worked as a staff of the Shanxi Wanrong Sub-branch of the
People's Bank of China.
Mr. Ma's biographical details are as follows:
Mr. Ma, aged 45, has been appointed as office director of the business department of the head office of the Bank since February 2015. From July 2013 to February 2015, Mr Ma serves as general manager of the business settlement department of the head office of the Bank. From May 2012 to July 2013, he serves as general manager of the accounting department of the head office of the Bank. He held the position of deputy general manager of the corporate banking department under business department of the head office of the Bank from September 2009 to May 2012. Mr. Ma has been working in the Bank since 1994, and served successively as a staff of the leasing department and the credit department of the Bank, a staff, deputy director, assistant general manager of the corporate banking department under the business department of the head office of the Bank, deputy general manager of the risk management department of the head office and deputy general manager of the corporate banking department. Mr. Ma graduated from Central Institute of Finance and Banking and received his bachelor's degree in accounting. After that, he received his master degree in finance from Central University of Finance and Economics.
During their terms of office as the employee representative supervisors of the Bank, Ms. Wen, Mr. Cheng and Mr. Ma will receive no supervisors' fee from the Bank, complying with the Supervisors' Remuneration Policy of the fourth session of the Board of Supervisors which was passed on the 2014 annual general meeting. They will receive remuneration based on their positions with the Bank, including basic salary, bonus, allowance, subsidy, employee welfare and insurance, housing fund and annuity.
Save as disclosed above, Ms. Wen, Mr. Cheng and Mr. Ma confirm that (i) they do not hold any other position with the Bank or any of its subsidiaries and have not held any directorship in any other listed companies for the past three years; (ii) they do not hold interests in any shares of the Bank or any of its associated corporations within the meaning of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong); and (iii) they do not have any relationship with any directors, senior management, or substantial or controlling shareholders of the Bank or its subsidiaries.
Save as disclosed above, Ms. Wen, Mr. Cheng and Mr. Ma confirm that there is no other matter that needs to be disclosed pursuant to Rules 13.51(2)(h) to 13.51(2)(v) of the Listing Rules nor any other matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Bank.
